ABOUT
FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH

OF ROYAL

GET TO KNOW US

  • Here at First Baptist Church of Royal we are not a body of perfect people. But we are a body of believers who strive to pursue holiness.
  • We adhere to the teaching's of the Bible and strive  to live like Jesus Christ lived.
  • We believe and live out the Baptist Faith and Message.
  • We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all mankind on the cross and that He rose from the grave on the third day defeating both sin and death.
  • We believe the Bible is the very word of God (2 Timothy 3:16) given to the prophets (2Peter 1:21)  and the apostles to be shared and passed down to each generation.
  • We believe the Bible is without error.
  • We believe in the mandate of the great commission found in Matthew 28:18-20 to share the gospel and to make desciples and to teach them all that Jesus has commanded.
  • At First Baptist Church of Royal we preach and teach the Bible without compromise.
  • We seek to minister to the lost people in and around Royal and wherever the Holy Spirit leads us. Our hope and prayer is that lost people would come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and be saved.
  • We are not a perfect Church, but because of God's grace and His leadership, we exist to share the same love that Christ has shown us.
  • All of our ministries and all of our events are Christ centered and are geared towards helping others to come to know Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior and also to help believers grow in their faith.
  • God calls the believer to be a part of the local Church. Is God calling you today? If you are reading this then there is no doubt that God is speaking to you. We would love to visit with you and welcome you into the body of believers. 1 Corinthians 12:12-14 says,  Just as a body, though one, has many parts, but all its many parts form one body, so it is with Christ. For we were all baptized by one Spirit so as to form one body, wether Jew or Gentiles, slave or free, and we were all given the one Spirit to drink. Even so the body is not made up of one part but of many.

Come and join us this Sunday for worship and allow the Holy Spirit to change your life forever.

OUR
MISSION

We exist to declare and demonstrate the liberating power of the Gospel.

It is our mission to reach out to all people with the love of Jesus Christ, teach the Bible without compromise in order to win the unsaved, and encourage believers to become fully committed disciples of Jesus Christ. We also want to pray for and encourage one another to do good works in the name of the Lord.

Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surley I am with you always , to the very end of the age.                                                            Matthew 28:19-20

OUR

VISION

Be a part of the Vision

Save, Equip, and Send out a highly motivated ARMY of believers who engage every segment of society, while remaining true to the Bible.

Growing Disciples. Starting Churches. Giving of yourself sacrificially to expand God’s kingdom by loving  our neighbor just as Jesus loves us.

OUR

GOALS

Help us accomplish our Goals

To impact our community and show the love of Jesus to every person that we encounter. We wish to show the love, compassion, and grace that Jesus showed everyone he encountered. We hope that you will join in accomplishing our goals.

MAY THE GOD OF HOPE FILL YOU WITH JOY AND PEACE AS YOU TRUST IN HIM SO THAT YOU MAY OVERFLOW WITH HOPE BY THE POWER OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

6 PRINCIPLES WE LIVE BY AT  FBC ROYAL

AUTHENTICITY:  We believe we can’t be what God has called us to be if we are not genuinely ourselves. We must be our true selves so that we make a connection with one another on a higher level.

BIBLICAL TRUTH: We believe the Bible is God’s inherent truth and it’s the foundation to everything we do.

COMMUNICATION: Jesus used the current language and daily life experiences of those around him to communicate truth.

LIFE TOGETHER: We aren’t interested in being a place where a lot of people get together for an inspiring service but never move beyond the casual, arm’s distance relationships of an auditorium.

EXCELLENCE: We don’t believe in striving for unrealistic perfection. Real excellence is about bringing your best to God’s work and to life in general.

GROWTH: This is a safe place for everyone, but safe doesn’t mean comfortable. The answers aren’t always comfortable.

"For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. " Jeremiah 29:11
